It happens often: after a project, the client indicates that they are very satisfied with our technician Jasper, project engineer Asmir, project manager Marie... Nice, motivated colleagues with the right knowledge. And they might add that these profiles are very difficult to find these days. What if the feeling is mutual? Then, completing the project does not necessarily mean the end of the collaboration. Through Professional Services – also known as our Outsourcing department – the colleague can keep working at the client. For a short or longer period.

“As a subcontractor, we make our expertise available to clients and partners through Professional Services,” Tania begins. She is Business Unit Manager of the Professional Services department. “It is a somewhat different and unknown service within Circet, but a highly valued one. Our clients and partners have great difficulty finding qualified personnel.”

👉 The opportunity to take on a new challenge
With outsourcing, we are not just helping our clients and partners; our colleagues are the main beneficiaries. Tania: “You can also use outsourcing to make the decision to take the next step in your career. If you’re stuck in a rut after years at the same job, for instance, we will find a new challenge together with you. For example, Proximus technicians have already progressed to team lead in the IT service of another client.”

“The same goes for colleagues who like to work close to home. What if a project has been completed and there isn’t a new one planned right away? Then we look for opportunities within your region. This means that no one will be temporarily out of work and colleagues will have the opportunity to learn from other organisations.”

Erecting network masts at Tomorrowland, installing equipment in people’s homes to measure TV audience, providing site support for hospitals, installing the IT infrastructure in new BNP Paribas offices... In fact, anything is possible through outsourcing.

61 colleagues are currently being outsourced – they will remain on Circet’s payroll. There are also 11 freelancers. To this end, Tania works closely with the HR department and the Talent Team: of course, they are the ones who know which colleagues are looking for a new challenge.
Tania: “The average career span of our colleagues at Circet is 9.5 years. That’s great. And that’s also the beauty of Professional Services: if a colleague no longer enjoys their job, we do not have to say goodbye; instead, we look for something new.”
