Even if you’re only going to be away from your desk for a short period of time — say, for a bathroom or coffee break — you should lock your computer. This makes sure someone else won’t gain access to confidential information or perform actions on your behalf on your accounts. Locking your PC is therefore important to keep your own data, and that of colleagues and customers safe.

How do you lock it? Press the Windows key (bottom left of your keyboard) and the letter L simultaneously to lock your PC.
